Sizzix teddy

Hear are a couple of the sizzix teddy die that i bought in Florida.I'm sure there is lots of way's you can make him look good i just did this for quickness not great i know but at least it gives you an idea of what it looks like.

Craft stash i bought in Florida

Just thought i would give you a look at what i bought in Florida mostly papers,card & lots of ribbon.Not had a play with it yet as i have no where to put it it's still in the bedroom in a big bag.Bought a few stamps & ink & the sizzix new teddy die & a couple of packets of cuttlebug cutting mats which were cheap a few packets of tiny alphabet beads & some new sizzors & some sticky dots.I got a few other bits & pieces but cant find them i think i got ladybird buttons 2 embossing mats for the cuttlebug.So that lot should keep me busy for a while he he.

Swimming with the dolphins

Hear we are with the best day of our holiday to Florida swimming with the dolphins it was amazing we got told all about them & how they survive ect.Our dolphin was called ocki & was 30 years old he was very gentle & he liked to play games with you.He was having one of his playful days with us he hadn't given a big kiss to any one that day that's because he was saving it for me as you can see i got a big smacker on the lips.We tickled his tummy & he loved it the dolphin feels lovely & soft like a silky feeling their tails are the strongest muscle they have as ocki showed us by going under water disappearing then coming back with a huge splash.It was an amazing day all round they only allow up to 1000 people in the park per day & it was like having our own tropical island everything was included in the price breakfast, late lunch,,all nibbles ie crisps ice cream ect & all drinks free to water,juice,beer.We even got special dolphin friendly sun cream, snorkels,goggles and at the end lovely showers with lovely soft fluffy white towels shower gel,shampoo & conditioner.You could go snorkeling but i chose not to as i dont like putting my face in the water but still went in we had all kinds of fish swimming around our feet even sting rays but they had been nipped so they couldn't sting you.They also had an avirey which was full of beautiful birds you could take a little tub with food in it & the birds would land on your arm & eat the food i was a bit scared at first but it was fine 2 landed on debbie at the same time one one her arm & one on her head which gave her a bit of a fright but she was fine.I cant wait to go back agai it did cost quite a bit of money but it was WELL worth it i would reccomend it to anyone.Oh well till next time bye for now.

Our Florida holiday

Just thought i would share some photo's of our holiday to Florida.We had a fantastic time very tiring was in bed some nights as early as 8.30pm & it's the only holiday i have been on when i never had as much as one alcoholic drink.We saw loads of characters & got a few autographs & a big kiss from mickey.As soon as i saw the castle i burst into tears as i couldn't believe i was really there then i seen my very first parade & started crying yet again it just made you feel like you were a little girl again & you were seeing everyone that you have only ever read about.We went to discovery cove for the day to swim with the dolphins & it was amazing your in the park from about 8.00 in the morning & it closes at 6.00 at night you get breakfast & dinner & all snacks & drinks all day.The swim lasted about 1/2 an hour our dolphin was called Ocki & he was beautiful we all got a kiss from him & it's one of the best things i have ever done in my life & want to do it again.Our hotel was lovely basic but clean but we only stayed in it to sleep.I did a few things which i never thought i would ever do went on Everest roller coaster,the log flumes,& the Popeye which is a big tub that takes you down the rapids but no one told me you get wet on it OK so i knew you get a little bit wet but NO we got absolutely soaked from head to toe it was fun but i wished i had taken a change of clothes with me as it was the last ride we done that day & the sun had disappeared & we had to travel home sodden wet as you can see in the photo.Apart from doing the parks we did some shopping (craft shopping for me) he he and boy did i spend went to Michael's twice & walmart once spent quite a bit of money on craft stuff i still haven't got round to unpacking it yet as i haven't a clue where I'm going to put it all he he.Will we ever go back again to right we will but it wont be a yearly thing as i couldn't afford a lot of craft spending money every year.Oh & the weather it was 85-93 degrees every day very hot but good.Once i unload my craft stash i will take photo's and show you all.So that's it for now.

WOOHOO

Only 5 more sleeps till we go on our once in a life time trip to Florida.Cant believe I'm really going it's been a bit of a struggle at times money wise (More so the price of the parks) But never mind we got there in the end.Got our flight tickets on Saturday all i have to do now is pack but i will do that during the week as charlie has told me there's football on Tuesday & Wednesday night so that will give me something to do.Had a good weekend Lesley & Blair moved into their 3 bed roomed house on Friday so i helped with that then on Saturday went to the pub it was karaoke but it was really good i even got up to sing with Debbie we sang stupid cupid we did put down another song but never got to sing that.Debbie & Lesley love karaoke & they love singing paradise by the dashboard light (Meat loaf) Debbie sung a couple on her own as did Lesley but i NEVER he he.Right now I'm feeling really good after going through a bit of a rough time cant wait to go craft shopping in Florida.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who left comments on my last blog.I have for the time being decided to carry on making cards after all the lectures i got from my family & friends & of course all the lovely words from you guy's.I have cashed in £150.00 into USA dollars to spend on craft stuff for when we go to Florida which is next Saturday WOOHOO.So I'm hoping to find different things to help me get back into it again having said that i just ordered a load of ribbon grosgrain in every colour i just have to keep telling myself the ribbon IS for the cards & not just to take out & stroke every other day he he.

Thinking of packing it all in

I have been feeling like this for a while now i don't seem to be selling many cards these day's.Charlie used to get me good orders from his work friends but now a day's it is all foreigner's that work in the factory now so card selling has dried up except for the odd one the office staff ask for.Lesley isn't allowed to sell them in her work something to do with bringing bugs in to NHS wards.I will still do Lesley's wedding stationery for her & if Susan still wants me to do hers then i will do that to but apart from that i think i will call it a day & sell all my stuff on eBay.I was going to buy a whole load of craft stuff when we go to Florida but if I'm not getting orders then i just don't see the point.
