Amy is one today

This is Amy Debbie & Lesley's Friend Susan's wee girl it's her first birthday today she has the most beautiful big blue eyes & her hair is coming in really fair.Cant believe she is 1 already it only seems like yesterday since she was born she is at the crawling,pulling her self up & walking round the furniture bit & she is so funny when she pulls herself up.She knows when she's getting her photo taken as she closes her eye's although she had them open in this photo i think she is going to be full of mischief when she's growing up she just has that i'm a good girl look about her & a cheeky smile.

Wedding changes

There has been some changes made to both Susan & Lesley's wedding first off when Susan & Andy worked out their budget they realised it was going to cost more than they thought so Susan asked Debbie & Lesley if they would mind paying for their own dresses,flowers ect but Lesley said no as she was saving for her own wedding so Debbie said no to anyway we are all going to Susan's wedding as guests.Then Lesley got a phone call a few weeks ago telling her all the dresses were hear so we had to arrange days round the 4 brides maids so they all got fitted for their dresses everything fine a few nips & tucks hear & there and what does Susan do last week she only goes & announces that she is trying for another baby straight after her wedding so she had to pull out of being a bridesmaid.But just by pure luck my sister is around the same build as Susan so she is standing in for Susan she tried the dress last Saturday & it's just a wee bit neat on her but she will get into it we have 2 years to go yet so it's no big problem & we are glad Susan told us so we could ask my sister in plenty time.We wanted my sister in the first place but that would have meant 5 bridesmaids so in a way it has worked out fine.So that's all the wedding news for now.

Charlie's 50th birthday

Hear is charlie getting ready to celebrate his 50th birthday.He started off being a good boy only had one bottle of beer before going out but he wasn't good for long as you will see with the photo's.By the end of the night he was well & truly P***ED he had to be carried out & put into the car then helped out the car & put to bed.I'm suprised he didn't have a mega hangover with all the vodka he was putting away at one point i was drinking the vodka for him & he never knew anything about it he he.Oh well it's my turn next year but i'm a good girl & wont be getting as drunk as charlie did because i know when to stop he he.


These photo's were taken on sunday when we went for our meal for both our birthday's.Charlie's face was a picture when they came out with the cake & started singing happy birthday it was so funny.

Well thought i had better get round to updating my blog so thought i would share some of my holiday stories & photo's with you.Now where do i start oh i know day one we arrive at hotel get our usual greeting of hugs & kisses from the staff sign in get keys go down to pool bar.The 5 of us went down DH 2DD'S Blair & me charlie,Blair & Debbie started with alcoholic drinks whilst Lesley & me stuck to soft drinks (I like to keep my drinking till night time) Anyway after a few drinks Blair said he wanted to go out & about as he has never been to Majorca before but Lesley couldn't be bothered so charlie said I'll show you the sites Blair so away they went saying we wont be long (Yeah right) 3 hours later in they come a bit worse for wear 10 minutes later Lesley shouts over to us (They were in the next room to us)so i go out to the balcony & she is showing me a photo on Blair's camera it's a photo of a pavement according to Blair the pavement moved & charlie fell after a lot of laughing charlie goes for a shower so there i am sitting on the balcony listening to a cd with the sun beating down.Half an hour later Charlie comes out the bathroom & said you will have to fix the shower curtain why whats wrong with it i ask oh i pulled it down when i fell out the bath.I asked how did you manage to fall out the bath he replies i fell out it twice what had happened was he had put his shower gel on but slipped in the bath but at the same time he fell out he was lying with his legs up in the air shouting help Maggie well i never herd him so he managed to get himself up & back into the shower to get the lather off & did the same thing again when he was telling me what happened i couldn't stop laughing.Any way back out that night charlie & Blair were knocking them back like there was no tomorrow then around 01.30am him & Blair decided to go on the sling shot now for those who dint know what this is well put it this way it shoots you up in the air 360 feet in 1.7 seconds.They both looked terrified as they were buckled in & 321 away they went screaming like a pair of girls.The girls & me wet our self laughing and whats the first thing charlie said when getting off OH I NEED A DRINK as if he he.I'm afraid all the photo's are the wrong way round still cant master how to do it but you get the gist if anyone reds it that is.

Oh no then tears

Lesley got a phone call on friday to say her & the bridesmaids dresses were hear so Lesley,Debbie & myself went to the shop today for a fitting Debbie was first to go & behind the curtain all we heard was OH NO followed by take it off & lots of crying.Both Debs & Les have put weight on since they first got messured & the zip wouldn't go up on Debbie's dress she was so ashamed she said she doesn't want to be bridesmaid but as Nyona explained to her she has 2 & a bit years to loose some weight.I managed to take a photo of her but she wont look at it.Then came Lesley's turn everything seemed to be alright but Nyona asked me to help hold the dress closed whilst she did the zip up it did go up but was a bit nip & tuck.Lesley's dress is to big at the chest but a bit tight round the tummy area so the 3 of us are going to do all we can to loose the weight put it this way Debbie & Lesley have no choice but to loose the weight me to i don't want to be seen as FAT mother of the bride.Lesley chose her jewellery,shoes & veil today & seeing it all on her together brought a lump to my throat.Tell you though just as well we have 2 & a bit years to go or it would be a complete disaster Nyona told them to leave any more fittings till at least 6-8 months before the wedding so that gives the girls enough time to loose the weight.As for the other 3 bridesmaids we don't need to worry about them as they don't have any weight issues they are skinny Minnie's.So that's the latest up date on the wedding situation thank god for that I'm stressed just now.I have put on a sneak preview but ssshhh dont tell Lesley.

Callum's birthday card

I made this birthday card for my nephew callum's birthday.He will be 10 in august & he loves ice skating so i bought the quick cutz ice skating boot die & if you read this Nic i have finally got round to using my alphabet.The card isn't quit finished i wil add his name & age at the top must say i'm very pleased with myself so thought i would show it off.
