The big challenge on cbc

A couple of cards i entered for cbc the big challenge.Not great i know but hey just thought i would do it for fun. The one with the heather on the tag is going to be a wedding card i'm going to add gold wedding rings to it.I made a similar card a few weeks ago & the lady loved it so much she gave me double the price for it.It doesn't look right in the photo but it's very nice in real life i'm hopless taking photo's of my cards.

Well i have been very brave & put a couple of cards in to the big challenge on cbc had a couple of problems trying to up load onto the gallery as i was getting a message saying my files were to big & i haven't a clue how to make them smaller.I have enjoyed doing what i have done you never know i might just try some more challenges I'm afraid it will have to be all cards as i haven't got into scrap booking YET? When i go to Florida i will have a look at scrap papers albums ect so i might just have a go if i get the right stuff i plan on bringing loads back he he.I'm afraid this blog is a bit mixed up (Just like me) not that i expect anyone to read my blog as i never have anything interesting to say think i need to get a life.Oh well that's it for now by by.

29 years

This is Charlie & my 29th wedding anniversary gosh that's a long time.Anyway we met at work 31 years ago & got married 2 years later charlie is my best friend,soul mate as well as my fab hubby.Charlie is always there for me but more so over the last couple of months as i have been having major problems with that black cloud above my head try as i might it just isn't shifting so i have been bursting into tears for no reason & stupid little things are upsetting me hopefully my holiday to Majorca in 5 weeks will sort me out i think that's what I'm needing.I love all the challenges on CBC & the big challenge but the way I'm feeling i don't think i will be joining in (No surprise there then) I have only been making cards as & when as i really just cant get into it. My sister came to visit me last week & was shocked at how much craft stuff i have you see although I'm not making I'm still BUYING anyway wee sis took everything out & i mean everything as she is going to start making cards again (She was the one who got me started) then she gave it up so she left with a big bag full of stash i also gave her my zip emate as i hardly used it got a cuttle bug & when I'm in the mood i cut lots of dies just don't get round to putting them on cards.Just wish i had something more interesting to write about but i don't.I'm going to the nurse on Monday to get my BP checked but there is some questions i need to ask her like I'm doing my best to loose weight & had lost 6 pounds in 5 weeks & was happy but today i stood on the scales & have put 2 pound on i have not cheated once so don't know how this happened.I feel very bloated but cant get anything for it because of my BP medication (Think it could be the start of the menopause) so will have a chat to the nurse about that & ask if there's anything else i can do to help loose some weight.I am very limited with what i can & can't do in the way of exercise so this gets me down to right that's enough of feeling sorry for myself for the time being.

A sneak preview of susan's dress

Just thought i would keep you updated on the wedding's right Lesley has paid for her dress & started paying for the 4 bridesmaids dresses i bought her tiara for her she has seen the shoes she wants but will wait till her dress comes into the shop.Everything else has been seen to my brother is doing the photography all they have to do is pay for the development of the photo's my brother is semi professional & he's done loads of weddings,christenings ect.The band has been booked & the hotel i will be doing the invitations & favours she is having organza bags with candles in them & i will decorate the bags with a flower that matches the bridesmaids dresses & invitations so everything ties in so the only thing left to do is speak to the minister who is Blair's parents friend he said just to give him a call to make an appointment.Now for Susan's wedding well Susan & Andy are getting married next September but are finding things hard as the have a baby & never really looked into how much things cost they were having 3 bridesmaids 2 flower girls & a Paige boy so she asked Debbie & Lesley if they could buy their own dresses as they couldn't afford it so Debbie & Lesley said they cant afford to buy their own dresses but said they would be happy to stand down & just come as guests which Susan agreed to.Susan has her dress to the dress which is in an earlier post isn't the one she will be wearing as she found a fairy tail dress & that's what she was after she looks stunning in it she also has her Tiara,jewelry,shoes & has paid the deposit on her venue.Susan still isn't getting on with her mum which is a shame she came with us to see Susan in her dress & cried buckets but that is the last time she saw her mum i feel so sorry for her.Well i think that's everything up to date now so it's a case of just sitting back & waiting for it all to happen.Oh Blair thinks he is being funny by saying him & his best man will make some fairy cakes for the guests instead of buying a proper cake he said they will just buy the ready made stuff out the supermarket & no one will know (HA HA) Lesley has decided on a 3 tier cake she wants fruit cake for the bottom a sponge cake for the middle & chocolate cake for the third tier.Blair & Lesley don't like fruit cake but are having it just for the guests Blair likes sponge cake & Lesley likes chocolate so it looks like it will be a mixture

Sorry

I have been lazy & not keeping up with my blogg.What have i been up to not a lot really we are going to florida for the first time in october so have found a great forum where you can ask any question & someone will always know the answer some of the questions i have asked i thought were stupid untill i seen the replys.So now i'm pretty clued up on whats going on which parks we will do ect.We are all going to discovery cove to swim with the dolphins so i'm really looking forward to that although i'm told the water is really cold & i dont do cold but will just this once.We are doing magic kingdom i wont be doing any of the rides as i have arthrits although i might be able to do some of the smaller rides ie the cups & saucers he he as long as i get to do craft shopping,see micky & swim with the dolphins that will do for me.I haven't been doing much card making these day's dont know how i just cant be a***d still buying though just not using i really think my get up & go has gone for good.I have only been making cards as & when asked to oh well thats it for now gosh my life is so boring no wonder no one reads my blog it's just full of c**p.
