Debbie got Engaged

Today Debbie & Bruce got engaged & as you can see by the expression on her face she so wasn't expecting it. Everyone is sooooo happy for them both just means my kitchen has to go on hold AGAIN LOL as you know Lesley gets married in august next year so looks like 2 weddings to pay for (Better start making cards & selling them) Congratulations again Debbie & Bruce xxxxx Will keep you all updated on how things go from hear on in.

Christmas Eve

Well where did the year go it's went bye so quick one Minuit we are helping Susan plan her wedding running around like a headless chicken most of the time but we got there in the end lol. Now for the coming year Lesley gets married in august so it will be all go go go from new year as it's quite a big wedding with 100 guests for the meal & i have the invitations to do along with umpteen other things so will chill out & relax over Christmas & new year. It's also been a busy year for me card making i have been steady & inundated with hand made Christmas cards but the Christmas craft stuff has all been packed away in their box till next year. Well that's it for now happy Christmas & all the very best for 2009 to anyone who reads my blog.

Just a quick update

Well where do i start after coming home from holiday then the following week we had Susan's wedding i suppose i was feeling a bit down. Couldn't be bothered with anything that was until i got an order for Christmas cards 20 then another 5 all personalised then another order for Christmas,engagement,wedding,birthday,thank you cards. This has boosted my confidence as i was thinking of giving up making cards cos it seems every where you go people are selling hand made cards but it does me feel good when i have freinds still order from me. Next up after christmas & new year i will be making a start on Lesley's wedding stationery yes it's come round that quick she get's married on 29th August 09. And debbie is seeing a lovley lad & they are getting engaged on hogmony although Debbie DOESN'T KNOW so SSSHHHHHHH. We are all going out to our local for the bells so bruce is going to propose to her around 11.30pm can't wait to see her face i have the ring hear in my house & it's beautiful she will love it. Gosh one minuit my 2 girls are still staying at home the next the 2 of them leave oh well i can maybe have that craft room after all:) Will try & keep this blog updated xxxx

Susan's Wedding 27/09/2008

I have gone a bit photo daft first photo is of susan's bouquet then we have the wedding dress & in the next photo you can see all the detail on the dress. Then is the detail on the bridesmaid's dresses the colour is emerald green. Next we have susan & her dad what a very proud dad he was then there's the newley weds susan & Andy. Holiday photo's Majorca 2008

Well hear we are our family holiday to Majorca where we go to every year & as always a good time was had by all. I danced with take that had my bra unfastened by Elvis but the highlight of my holiday was being asked to sing a duet with Robbie Williams which was amazing we sang Things i was on cloud 9 for the rest of my holiday. All the tribute acts were great we seen The Beatles,Take that,The spice girls,Elvis, Rod Stewart, & of course ROBBIE. It was very hot over in Majorca this year but i wasn't complaining as it helped my arthritis a lot which was great. That was the last family holiday for a while as Lesley gets married next august & charlie,Debbie,Bruce charlie & myself are going to Florida next October but charlie & i are going to try to go to Majorca for a week next June. It wont be the same with just both of us but I'm sure we will enjoy it just the same. Thanks for looking.

The Hen night

Just thought i would share some of susan's hen night photo's. These are the tame ones LOL it was a great night dont think there's anything to beat a girls night out. We have the wedding in 3 weeks OMG it has come round so quick. Cant belive it has been nearly 2 years we have been planning susan's wedding. Lesley is next not till next august though then we have to do it all over again lol.

It's nearly hear

Well that's just about everything done now for Susan's wedding just the place cards & table plan to do she will email me tonight with this so i can get started on that tomorrow. It's the hen night on Saturday so that should be good fun 5 of us are going for a meal first her mum,Debbie,Lesley,me & Susan then it's down to the pub where we will meet up with everyone else. Tell you though it's been all go go go we are off to Majorca next Saturday for our usual 2 weeks of fun & laughter then we get home on the Saturday & the wedding is the week after (Think we should have waited till after the wedding for our Holiday lol) Then after Susan's wedding we will be talking weddings again this time it's Lesley's which is 29th August next year. Although she has got most of the arrangements done again i am doing the wedding stationery will have to start after christmas as it's a big wedding 100 for the meal & 160 night guests so it will take me a while to get it all done as i can only do a bit at a time but never mind we will get there. Oh well that's it for now tara x x

It's all go go go

Well that's Susan gave out her invitations i can't believe how fast time has gone by it doesn't seem like 18 months we have been planning her wedding. As you may remember Susan is Debbie & Lesley's friend who is leaving from my house to get married & Debbie & Lesley are bridesmaids & I'm her adopted mum lol. Well after all the what colour will we go for, which flowers to pick,what cars would we like,making wedding stationery ect it's now only 7 weeks away from now till then it's all go i am going to the Hilton for my 50th birthday on Friday although it's not my birthday till next Friday my lovely sister in law & brother in law are treating me to this (Feeling spoilt already) Then next weekend i will be the big 50 O. M .G that sounds old lol. We have Susan's henny on the 30th August then we go on holiday for 2 weeks when we get home we have the theater to go to to see les miserables that's on the tuesday then the wedding is on Saturday. Then after all that it's time to start planning again as lesley get's married next August (Although nearly everything has been done) that can be done for the time being. well that's all for now bye bye.

Susan's wedding stationery

Thought i would just show you the wedding stationery i have made for a friend's wedding. She wanted a tartan & roses theme as she loves red & white roses she is over the moon with them. I just have the place settings to do but cant do them till the couple know who is coming. The wedding is on 27th September & the bride is leaving from my house (long story) Debbie & Lesley are bridesmaids & are wearing bottle green dresses cant wait till the big day comes.

Our week in Benidorm

Well hear we are in Benidorm for our 30th wedding anniversary as you will see by the photo's we had a great time. Only thing is i drunk to much & was in my bed for one day i blame Debbie i started off with vodka & irn bru & for anyone that's been abroad you will know how much vodka you get in one glass & it was happy hour so it was 2 for 1. Then Debbie decided to try cocktails so it would have been rude of me not to join her we had sex on the beach & a couple of other ones i cant remember. Any way there was a pole just where we were sitting no one was dancing on it so Debbie said go on mum you know you want to & that was all it took for me to get up & dance around this pole & the more claps i got the more i danced no wander i was ill all next day lol. Well that's me i will be a good girl till i go to Majorca in September then i will do it all again but with out the pole dancing this time. You will see in the photo's i also got up with Debbie to sing on karaoke and i really enjoyed it i don't usually sing on karaoke but when i have a drink i will do anything well nearly anything lol
